The Project
This brief, in partnership with Dyson and React Medical, challenged us to work in pairs to create a complete rebrand of an innovative medical device that rapidly inflates once inserted into a penetrative (stab/bullet) wound. The device applies internal pressure to minimise blood loss, the primary cause of death for victims of penetrative trauma.

Together, we developed a strategy for the rebrand, creating a new visual identity and applying it to a number of touchpoints.
The project deliverables, alongside the new brand guidelines, included packaging and on-product graphics, instructions for use, a product website and campaign assets.

We opted for two specific target audiences: police officers, often the first responders to a penetrative trauma injury, and schools, where there has been a rise in violent crime.
The packaging and ephemera has been tailored to the recipient, with a simple switch in the colour scheme. We have a darker version for police officers and a brighter and more personable version for schools.
The marketing assets and website remains the same for all audiences, ensuring an easy to maintain system and reducing waste (regarding promotional items).
